पार्वत्युवाच । शृणु द्विजेन्द्र जटिल मद्वृत्तं निखिलं खलु । सख्युक्तं मेऽद्य यत्सत्यं तत्तथैव न चान्यथा
pārvatyuvāca | śṛṇu dvijendra jaṭila madvṛttaṃ nikhilaṃ khalu | sakhyuktaṃ me'dya yatsatyaṃ tattathaiva na cānyathā
പാർവതി പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ദ്വിജശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, ഹേ ജടാധാരീ! എന്റെ ജീവിതവൃത്താന്തം മുഴുവനായി കേൾക്കുക. ഇന്ന് സഖ്യഭാവത്തോടെ ഞാൻ പറയുന്നത് സത്യം—അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ, മറ്റെങ്ങനെ അല്ല.
