ब्रह्मोवाच । शृणु तात महाधीमन्सर्वलोकहितावह । वच्म्यहं प्रीतितस्सिंधो शिवेच्छाप्रेरितो हृदा

ബ്രഹ്മാവ് പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ താതാ, ഹേ മഹാധീമാൻ, കേൾക്കുക. സർവ്വലോകഹിതം വരുത്തുന്ന വചനം ഞാൻ പറയും. ഹേ പ്രീതിസിന്ധോ, ശിവേച്ഛയാൽ പ്രേരിതനായി ഹൃദയത്തിൽ നിന്നു സന്തോഷത്തോടെ പറയുന്നു।
