हिमाचल उवाच । देवदेव महादेव करुणाकर शंकर । पश्य मां शरणम्प्राप्तमुन्मील्य नयने विभो

ഹിമാചലൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ദേവദേവാ, മഹാദേവാ, കരുണാകര ശങ്കരാ! വിഭോ, കണ്ണുകൾ തുറന്ന് എന്നെ നോക്കണമേ; ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ശരണത്തിൽ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു।
