praṇamya kārttikaṃ prītyā sarvadevarṣibhissaha | tuṣṭāva vividhasstotraiḥ śivarūpaṃ sanātanam

Translation

കാർത്തികേയനെ സ്നേഹത്തോടെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു, സർവ്വ ദേവർഷിമാരോടൊപ്പം അദ്ദേഹം പലവിധ സ്തോത്രങ്ങളാൽ അവനിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷമായ സനാതന ശിവരൂപത്തെ സ്തുതിച്ചു।
