Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
The verse highlights Śiva’s prasāda (grace): when the Lord is pleased, He freely bestows blessings. In Shaiva Siddhānta, grace is the decisive factor that uplifts beings beyond limitation and supports their dharma and spiritual progress.
Śiva speaks in a personal (saguṇa) mode—responding to devotion and cosmic need. This reflects how Linga-worship approaches the accessible Lord who grants protection, order, and spiritual uplift through His compassionate presence.
The practical takeaway is to cultivate devotion and humility so that Śiva’s grace arises—commonly expressed through daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), along with simple Śiva-pūjā such as offering water to the Linga and maintaining purity of intention.
