It affirms that even the highest Lord, in His Saguna form as Śiva with Umā, sanctifies householder life by embodying righteous conduct—showing devotees that dharma performed with devotion becomes a support for inner purity and liberation.
By presenting Śiva as an ideal divine householder, the verse frames Linga/Saguna worship as compatible with daily responsibilities—devotion is not confined to renunciation but is lived through disciplined conduct, reverence, and harmony in family life.
Adopt steady daily Shaiva practice alongside duties—simple Linga-pūjā with mantra-japa (especially the Panchākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and purity disciplines such as bhasma/tripuṇḍra and respectful household observances.
