ताश्चैवमृषिपत्न्यस्तु क्रुद्धास्तां पर्यभर्त्सयन् । परावृत्य गतास्सर्वास्तूटजान्कुटिलाशयाः
tāścaivamṛṣipatnyastu kruddhāstāṃ paryabhartsayan | parāvṛtya gatāssarvāstūṭajānkuṭilāśayāḥ
ഇങ്ങനെ ഋഷിപത്നിമാർ കോപത്തിൽ ജ്വലിച്ച് അവളെ കടുത്ത വാക്കുകളാൽ ശാസിച്ചു. പിന്നെ കപടാഭിപ്രായം ഹൃദയത്തിൽ വച്ചു, ആശ്രമത്തിലെ ആ സ്ത്രീകൾ എല്ലാവരും തിരിഞ്ഞുപോയി।
