ऋषयश्छन्नरूपास्ते ऋषिपत्न्यस्तथाशुभाः । ऊचुस्तत्र तदा सर्वे किं कृतं गौतमेन च
ṛṣayaśchannarūpāste ṛṣipatnyastathāśubhāḥ | ūcustatra tadā sarve kiṃ kṛtaṃ gautamena ca
അപ്പോൾ ആ ഋഷിമാർ തങ്ങളുടെ യഥാർത്ഥ രൂപം മറച്ചിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരും അശുഭാഭിപ്രായം കൊണ്ടു പ്രേരിതരായിരുന്നു. അന്നേരം അവിടെ എല്ലാവരും പറഞ്ഞു—“ഗൗതമൻ എന്ത് ചെയ്തു?”
