vāmadevamatenāpi śaunakādimatena vā | tatra mukhyaṃ vāmadevyaṃ garbhayukto yato muniḥ

Translation

വാമദേവമതപ്രകാരം ആയാലും ശൗനകാദി ഋഷിമതപ്രകാരം ആയാലും—ഇവിടെ വാമദേവ്യമാണ് മുഖ്യം എന്നു കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു; കാരണം മുനി ‘ഗർഭ’യുക്തൻ, അഥവാ അന്തർസൂക്ഷ്മമൂലവുമായി ബന്ധിതൻ ആകുന്നു.
