प्रकाशवाची स भवेत्सत्प्रकाश इति स्फुटम् । ज्ञानशब्दस्य पर्य्यायश्चिच्छब्दः स्त्रीत्वमागतः

prakāśavācī sa bhavetsatprakāśa iti sphuṭam | jñānaśabdasya paryyāyaścicchabdaḥ strītvamāgataḥ

അവൾ പ്രകാശത്തെ പ്രസ്ഫുടിപ്പിക്കുന്നവൾ; അതിനാൽ അവൾ വ്യക്തമായി ‘സത്പ്രകാശാ’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ‘ചിത്’ എന്ന പദം ‘ജ്ഞാനം’ എന്നതിന്റേ പര്യായമാണ്; ഇവിടെ അത് സ്ത്രീലിംഗരൂപത്തിൽ പ്രതിപാദിക്കുന്നു।
