Cosmic Event: Śruti-pramāṇa invoked for a subtle ‘middle-of-the-waters’ abiding principle (cosmic/ontic center imagery).
It uses a Śruti-backed analogy: even amid motion and change (like water circling a wheel), the deepest truth is realized as the inner, central presence—pointing to Pati (Shiva) as the indwelling Reality to be known through inward contemplation.
The “middle of the water” suggests the subtle center within phenomena; Linga-worship similarly trains the mind to move from outer form (saguṇa support) to the inner Linga-consciousness—Shiva as the stable core within changing experience.
A practical takeaway is dhyāna with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), steadying awareness on the inner ‘center’ (hṛdaya/antar-liṅga), optionally supported by Tripuṇḍra and rudrākṣa as aids to recollection.
