यूयं खलु महाभागाश्शिवभक्ता दृढव्रताः । इति निश्चित्य युष्माकं वक्ष्यामि श्रूयताम्मुदा
yūyaṃ khalu mahābhāgāśśivabhaktā dṛḍhavratāḥ | iti niścitya yuṣmākaṃ vakṣyāmi śrūyatāmmudā
നിങ്ങൾ സത്യമായും മഹാഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ—ശിവഭക്തരും ദൃഢവ്രതികളും. ഇത് ഉറപ്പാക്കി നിങ്ങളുടെ നിമിത്തം ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു; ആനന്ദത്തോടെ ശ്രവിക്കുവിൻ.

Significance: Stresses dṛḍha-vrata and śravaṇa with mudā (joy): in Siddhānta, such disciplined receptivity is a proximate cause for Śiva’s grace (anugraha) and removal of pāśa.
