अयं सहस्रा परि युक्ता वसानः सूर्यस्य भानुं यज्ञो दाधार सहस्रदाः शतदा भूरिदावा धर्त्ता दिवो भुवनस्य विश्पतिः

ayaṃ sahasrā pari yuktā vasānaḥ sūryasya bhānuṃ yajño dādhāra sahasradāḥ śatadā bhūridāvā dharttā divo bhuvanasya viśpatiḥ

ഈ യജ്ഞം—സഹസ്രമായി യുക്തമായ ശക്തികളാൽ യുക്തനായി, വസാനഃ (ആവരണം ധരിച്ച്)—സൂര്യന്റെ ഭാനു (കിരണ-തേജസ്) ധരിച്ചു നിൽക്കുന്നു; സഹസ്രദാ, ശതദാ, ഭൂരിദാ ആയി ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ; ദ്യൗവിന്റെ ധർത്താവ്, ഭുവനത്തിന്റെ വിശ്പതി (ജനങ്ങളുടെ അധിപൻ) ആകുന്നു.
