इन्द्रस्य वज्र आयसो निमिश्ल इन्द्रस्य बाह्वोर्भूयिष्ठमोजः । शीर्षन्निन्द्रस्य क्रतवो निरेक आसन्नेषन्त श्रुत्या उपाके ॥
índrasya vájra āyasó ní-miśla índrasya bāhvór bhū́yiṣṭham ójaḥ | śī́rṣann índrasya krátavo nireké āsánn éṣanta śrútyā upā́ke ||
ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ വജ്രം ആയസ (ഇരുമ്പ്) കൊണ്ടുള്ളത്—ക്ഷണത്തിൽ മിന്നിപ്പൊളിയുന്നത്; ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങളിൽ പരമമായ ഓജസ് നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ ശിരസ്സിൽ ക്രതവഃ (സങ്കൽപ-ശക്തികൾ) വ്യക്തമായി വേർതിരിഞ്ഞ് നില്ക്കുന്നു; ശ്രുതിയാൽ ഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന പ്രേരിത വാണിയുടെ ശ്രവണത്തിനായി അവ സമീപത്തേക്ക് അടുക്കുന്നു.
