द्रप्समपश्यं विषुणे चरन्तमुपह्वरे नद्यो अंशुमत्याः । नभो न कृष्णमवतस्थिवांसमिष्यामि वो वृषणो युध्यताजौ ॥
drapsám apaśyaṃ víṣuṇe cárantam upahvaré nadyò aṃśumátyāḥ | nábho na kṛṣṇám avatasthivā́ṃsam iṣyā́mi vo vṛṣaṇo yúdhyatājau ||
ഞാൻ ആ തുള്ളിയെ തന്റെ സ്വന്തം പാതകളിൽ വേർപെട്ട് സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നതായി കണ്ടു—വളഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്ന ഗുഹാസദൃശമായ താഴ്വരയിൽ, കിരണഭരിതമായ നദികൾ ഒഴുകുന്നിടത്ത്. അത് അവിടെ കറുത്ത മേഘപിണ്ഡംപോലെ നിലകൊണ്ടു; ഹേ വൃഷണന്മാരേ (പരാക്രമികൾ), യുദ്ധത്തിന്റെ അജൗയിൽ പോരാടാൻ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ഉത്തേജിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
