इन्द्र शुद्धो हि नो रयिं शुद्धो रत्नानि दाशुषे । शुद्धो वृत्राणि जिघ्नसे शुद्धो वाजं सिषाससि ॥
índra śuddhó hí no rayíṃ śuddhó ratnā́ni dāśúṣe | śuddhó vṛtrā́ṇi jighnase śuddhó vā́jaṃ sisāsasi ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, നീ ശുദ്ധൻ; തീർച്ചയായും നീ തന്നെയാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ റയി—സമൃദ്ധി. ശുദ്ധനായി നീ ദാശുഷേ—ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവന്—രത്നങ്ങളും നിധികളും നൽകുന്നു. ശുദ്ധനായി നീ വൃത്രങ്ങളെ—തടസ്സശക്തികളെ—വധിക്കുന്നു; ശുദ്ധനായി നീ ഞങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് വാജ—ബലത്തിന്റെയും ജയോത്സാഹത്തിന്റെയും സമൃദ്ധി—ഉണർത്തുന്നു.
