गौर्धयति मरुतां श्रवस्युर्माता मघोनाम् । युक्ता वह्नी रथानाम् ॥
Transliteration
gaúr dháyati marútāṃ śravasyúr mātā́ maghónām | yuktā́ váhnī ráthānām ||
Translation
പ്രകാശത്തിന്റെ ഗാവ് (ഗൗഃ) മരുതുകളെ പോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; ശ്രവസ്യു—യശസ്സിനെ തേടുന്നവൾ—അവൾ മഘോനാം (ഉദാരശക്തികളുടെ) മാതാവാകുന്നു. യുക്തയായി, അവൾ അവരുടെ രഥങ്ങളുടെ വഹ്നി—പ്രേരക വാഹകശക്തി—ആകുന്നു.
