अग्निमग्निं वो अध्रिगुं हुवेम वृक्तबर्हिषः । अग्निं हितप्रयसः शश्वतीष्वा होतारं चर्षणीनाम् ॥
Transliteration
agním-agníṃ vo ádhri-guṃ huvéma vṛktá-barhiṣaḥ | agníṃ hitá-prayasaḥ śaśvatī́ṣv ā́ hotā́raṃ carṣaṇīnā́m ||
Translation
അഗ്നിയിലേയ്ക്ക് അഗ്നി—ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ ഹുവേമ (ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു), അധ്രിഗു (അചഞ്ചലബലൻ), ഹേ വൃതകബർഹിഷഃ (വിരിച്ച ബർഹിസ് ഉള്ളവനേ) । ഹിതപ്രയസഃ ആയ ഞങ്ങൾ അഗ്നിയെ വിളിക്കുന്നു—ശാശ്വത ഇഷ്ടികളിൽ—ചർഷണീനാം ജനങ്ങളുടെ നിത്യ ഹോതൃ.
