Sukta 8.60
शेषे वनेषु मात्रोः सं त्वा मर्तास इन्धते । अतन्द्रो हव्या वहसि हविष्कृत आदिद्देवेषु राजसि ॥
śéṣe váneṣu mātróḥ sáṃ tvā mártāsa indhate | átandro havyā́ vahasi haviṣ-kṛ́ta ā́d íd devéṣu rājasi ||
നിന്റെ രണ്ടു മാതാക്കളുടെയായ ശേഷേ വനേഷു (വിശ്രമവനങ്ങളിൽ) പോലും മർത്ത്യർ നിന്നെ ഒരുമിച്ചു ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. അതന്ദ്രനായി നീ ഹവ്യങ്ങളെ വഹിക്കുന്നു; ഹവിഷ്കൃത (അർപ്പണത്തിന്റെ കർത്താവ്) ആയേ, അപ്പോൾ തന്നേ നീ ദേവേഷു രാജസി—ദേവന്മാരിൽ രാജത്വം വഹിക്കുന്നു.
