Transliteration

prá tám índra naśīmahi rayím gómantam aśvínam | prá bráhma pū́rva-cíttaye ||

Translation

ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, ആ നിന്നെയേ ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിക്കട്ടെ: ഗോമന്ത—പ്രകാശകിരണങ്ങളാൽ സമൃദ്ധവും അശ്വിന—വേഗശക്തികളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞതുമായ റയി (സമൃദ്ധി); പുര്വചിത്തിയുടെ ജാഗരണത്തിനായി ബ്രഹ്മ—മന്ത്രവാണി മുന്നോട്ടു പോകട്ടെ.
