वावृधान उप द्यवि वृषा वज्र्यरोरवीत् । वृत्रहा सोमपातमः ॥

Transliteration

vāvṛdhāná úpa dyávi vṛ́ṣā vajry àroravīt | vṛtrahā́ sómapātamaḥ ||

Translation

നിരന്തരം വർദ്ധിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, വജ്രധാരിയായ വൃഷഭൻ ദ്യാവിലേക്കു ഗർജിച്ചു ഉയർന്നു. ആവരണകാരിയായ (വൃത്ര)നെ ഹന്താവായ, സോമപാനത്തിൽ പരമോത്തമൻ—അവൻ അന്തർതടസ്സം ഭേദിക്കാൻ ശക്തിയിൽ ഉയിർക്കുന്നു.
