वृषा सोता सुनोतु ते वृषन्नृजीपिन्ना भर । वृषा दधन्वे वृषणं नदीष्वा तुभ्यं स्थातर्हरीणाम् ॥

Transliteration

vṛ́ṣā sótā sunotu te vṛ́ṣann ṛjīpin ā́ bhara | vṛ́ṣā dádhanve vṛ́ṣaṇaṃ nadī́ṣv ā́ túbhyaṃ sthātar harīṇām ||

Translation

വൃഷാ സോതൃ (സോമം പിഴിയുന്നവൻ) നിനക്കായി വൃഷണ സോമത്തെ പിഴിഞ്ഞൊഴുക്കട്ടെ; ഹേ വൃഷണ, ഹേ ഋജീപിൻ (നേരെ ഓടുന്നവനേ), വാ—അത് കൊണ്ടുവരിക. കാരണം വൃഷാ സോമം പ്രചോദിതമായി ഒഴുകുന്നു—നദികളിൽ വൃഷണമായ പ്രവാഹമായി—നിനക്കായി ഹരി-ദ്വയം (രണ്ട് താമ്രവർണ്ണ ശക്തികൾ/അശ്വങ്ങൾ) തങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് നിലകൊള്ളുവാൻ.
