Sukta 8.19
प्रशंसमानो अतिथिर्न मित्रियोऽग्नी रथो न वेद्यः । त्वे क्षेमासो अपि सन्ति साधवस्त्वं राजा रयीणाम् ॥
praśáṃsamāno átithir ná mitriyó’gnī rátho ná védyaḥ | tvé kṣémāso ápi santi sā́dhavas tváṃ rājā rayīṇā́m ||
സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ അഗ്നി അതിഥിപോലെ സുസ്വാഗതനും, മിത്രനെപ്പോലെ സ്നേഹിയുമാകുന്നു; രഥംപോലെ നമ്മുടെ പുരോഗതിയെ വഹിക്കുന്നവനെന്നു അവൻ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. നിനക്കുള്ളിൽ ക്ഷേമങ്ങൾ—നിശ്ചിത സുരക്ഷകൾ—ഉം സാധു സിദ്ധികളും നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു; നീ റയി—ഞങ്ങളുടെ സമൃദ്ധി/പരിപൂർണ്ണത—യുടെ രാജാവാണ്.
