तं त्वाजनन्त मातरः कविं देवासो अङ्गिरः । हव्यवाहममर्त्यम् ॥
Transliteration
taṃ tvā́jananta mātáraḥ kavíṃ devā́so aṅgiraḥ | havya-vāhám ámartyam ||
Translation
മാതാക്കൾ നിന്നെ പ്രസവിച്ചു—ഹേ അങ്ഗിരസ്, ദേവന്മാരിൽ കവി; ഹവ്യവാഹ, അമർത്ത്യ—അന്തരാഗ്നി, നമ്മുടെ ഇച്ഛയെ മേലോട്ടു ദൈവലോകത്തിലേക്ക് വഹിക്കുന്നവൻ.
