Sukta 6.40
आ याहि शश्वदुशता ययाथेन्द्र महा मनसा सोमपेयम् । उप ब्रह्माणि शृणव इमा नोऽथा ते यज्ञस्तन्वे वयो धात् ॥
ā́ yāhi śáśvad uśatā́ yayā́théndra mahā́ mánasā soma-péyam | úpa bráhmāṇi śṛṇava imā́ no ’áthā te yajñás tanvé váyo dhāt ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, നിനക്കിഷ്ടമായ പാതയിലൂടെ എപ്പോഴും പോലെ വരിക; മഹാമനസ്സോടെ സോമപാനത്തിനായി വരിക. ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഈ ബ്രഹ്മവാണികൾ (സ്തുതികൾ) നിന്റെ സമീപത്ത് കേൾക്കുക; പിന്നെ നിന്റെ യജ്ഞം നിന്റെ തന്നെ തനുവിൽ (പ്രകടദേഹത്തിൽ) വീര്യവും ബലവും സ്ഥാപിക്കട്ടെ.
