यं वै सूर्यं स्वर्भानुस्तमसाविध्यदासुरः । अत्रयस्तमन्वविन्दन्नह्यन्ये अशक्नुवन् ॥
Transliteration
yáṃ vai sū́ryaṃ svàr-bhānus támasā́vidhyad āsuráḥ | átrayas tám ánv avindan náhy ànye áśaknuvan ||
Translation
അസുരസ്വഭാവിയായ സ്വർഭാനു തമസ്സുകൊണ്ട് വേധിച്ച (മൂടിയ) ആ സൂര്യനെ അത്രിമാർ പിന്തുടർന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തി; മറ്റാർക്കും അതിന് ശക്തിയുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
