द्वाविमौ वातौ वात आ सिन्धोरा परावतः । दक्षं ते अन्य आ वातु परान्यो वातु यद्रपः ॥
Transliteration
dvā́v imáu vā́tau vāta ā́ síndhor ā́ parāvátaḥ | dákṣaṃ te anyá ā́ vātu párānyó vātu yád rápaḥ ||
Translation
ഹേ വായു, രണ്ടു കാറ്റുകൾ വീശുന്നു: ഒന്ന് സിന്ധുവിൽ നിന്ന് (നദിയിൽ നിന്ന്) വരുന്നു, മറ്റൊന്ന് പരാവത് (ദൂരത്തുനിന്ന്). ഒന്ന് നിനക്കു ദക്ഷതയും യുക്തമായ ശേഷിയും കൊണ്ടുവരട്ടെ; മറ്റൊന്ന് ക്ഷയിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ‘രപസ്’ (വ്യാധി)യെ ഊതി അകറ്റട്ടെ.
