एवा नो अग्ने समिधा वृधानो रेवत्पावक श्रवसे वि भाहि । तन्नो मित्रो वरुणो मामहन्तामदितिः सिन्धुः पृथिवी उत द्यौः ॥
evā́ no agne samídhā vṛdhānó revát-pāvaka śrávase ví bhāhi | tán no mitró váruṇo māmahantām áditiḥ síndhuḥ pṛthivī́ utá dyáuḥ ||
ഇങ്ങനെ, ഹേ അഗ്നേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ സമിധയാൽ വർദ്ധിച്ചു, ഹേ രേവത് പാവക, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദീപ്തമായ യശസ്സിനായി പ്രകാശിക്കേണമേ. ആ യശസ്സിനെ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി മിത്രനും വരുണനും വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ; അദിതി, സിന്ധു, പൃഥ്വി, ദ്യൗസും അതിനെ വിപുലമാക്കട്ടെ.
