महोदरवधः

The Slaying of Mahodara

महोदरस्तुसङ्कृद्धश्शरैःकाञ्चनभूषणैः ।चिच्छेदपाणिपादोरुन्वानराणांमहाहवे ।।6.98.9।।

mahodaras tu saṅkruddhaḥ śaraiḥ kāñcanabhūṣaṇaiḥ |

ciccheda pāṇipādorūn vānarāṇāṃ mahāhave ||6.98.9||

എന്നാൽ മഹോദരൻ ക്രുദ്ധനായി, ആ മഹായുദ്ധത്തിൽ സ്വർണാഭരണങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കരിച്ച അമ്പുകളാൽ വാനരന്മാരുടെ കൈകളും കാലുകളും തുടകളും വെട്ടിമുറിച്ചു.
