रावणस्यापनीतेनदुर्विनीतस्यदुर्मतेः ।।।।अयंनिष्टानकोघोरंशोकेनसमभिप्लुतः ।

Transliteration

rāvaṇasyāpanītena durvinītasya durmateḥ | ayaṃ niṣṭānako ghoraṃ śokena samabhiplutaḥ || 6.95.37 ||

Translation

ദുർവിനീതനും ദുർമതിയുമായ രാവണന്റെ അപഹരണരൂപ ദുഷ്കൃത്യം മൂലം, ശോകത്തിൽ മുങ്ങിയ ഈ ഭയാനക മഹാവിപത്ത് ഇപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.
