Sarga 95: Lamentation in Laṅkā and the Causal Chain of Enmity
जघानबलिनंरामस्सहस्रनयनात्मजम् ।वालिनंमेरुसङ्काशंपर्याप्तंतन्निदर्शनम् ।।।।
jaghāna balinaṁ rāmaḥ sahasranayanātmajam |
vālinaṁ merusaṅkāśaṁ paryāptaṁ tannidarśanam ||6.95.17||
ബലവാനായ രാമൻ സഹസ്രനയനൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) എന്നവന്റെ പുത്രനായ, മേരുപർവ്വതസദൃശനായ വാലിയെ വധിച്ചു; അതുതന്നെ മതിയായ തെളിവ്.
"Mighty Rama killed the son of thousand eyed Indra, Vali, who resembled mountain Meru. That example is sufficient proof."
