ततोऽभ्यनन्दन्सम्हृष्टास्समरेहरियूथपाः ।तमप्रतिबलंदृष्टवाहतंनैरृतपुङ्गवम् ।।।।

tato 'bhyanandan saṃhṛṣṭāḥ samare hari-yūthapāḥ |

tam apratibalaṃ dṛṣṭvā hataṃ nairṛta-puṅgavam ||

Translation

അപ്പോൾ സമരഭൂമിയിൽ ഹർഷോന്മത്തരായ ഹരിയൂഥപന്മാർ ആനന്ദിച്ചു; അപരിഹാര്യബലമുള്ള നൈരൃതപുംഗവൻ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടുകിടക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു, അവർ ലക്ഷ്മണനെ ജയഘോഷത്തോടെ അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു.
