इन्द्रजित्-लक्ष्मणयुद्धम् तथा वानरप्रोत्साहनम्
Indrajit–Lakshmana Battle and the Rallying of the Vanaras
तौप्रयुद्दौतदावीरौमृधेलक्ष्मणराक्षसौ ।शरौघानभिवर्षन्तौजघ्नतुस्तौपरस्परम् ।।।।
tau prayuddhau tadā vīrau mṛdhe lakṣmaṇarākṣasau | śaraughān abhivarṣantau jaghnatus tau parasparam ||
അപ്പോൾ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ ആ രണ്ടു വീരന്മാർ—ലക്ഷ്മണനും രാക്ഷസനായ (ഇന്ദ്രജിത്തും)—അമ്പുകളുടെ പ്രളയംപോലെ പെയ്ത്തുവിട്ട്, ഇടവിടാതെ പരസ്പരം പ്രഹരിച്ചു.
