विभीषणोपदेशः

Vibhishana’s Counsel to Ravana

प्रसादयेत्वांबन्धुत्वात्कुरुष्यवचनंमम ।हितंतथ्यमहंब्रूमिदीयतामस्यमैथिली ।।।।

prasādaye tvāṃ bandhutvāt kuruṣya vacanaṃ mama | hitaṃ tathyaṃ ahaṃ brūmi dīyatām asya maithilī ||

ബന്ധുത്വം കൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു—എന്റെ വാക്ക് അനുസരിക്കൂ. ഞാൻ ഹിതകരവും സത്യവുമായ വാക്കാണ് പറയുന്നത്: മൈഥിലി (സീതയെ) അവനു തിരികെ ഏല്പിക്കട്ടെ.
