इन्द्रजित्–लक्ष्मणयोर् घोरः शरयुद्धः
Indrajit and Lakshmana’s Fierce Exchange of Arrows
विषण्णवदनंदृष्टवाराक्षसंरावणात्मजे ।सौमित्रिंयुद्धसंयुक्तंप्रत्युवाचविभीषणः ।।6.89.3।।
viṣaṇṇavadanaṃ dṛṣṭvā rākṣasaṃ rāvaṇātmaje |
saumitriṃ yuddhasaṃyuktaṃ pratyuvāca vibhīṣaṇaḥ || 6.89.3 ||
രാവണപുത്രനായ രാക്ഷസനെ വിഷണ്ണമുഖനായി, ധൈര്യം ക്ഷയിച്ചവനായി കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, യുദ്ധത്തിൽ പൂർണ്ണമായി ഏർപ്പെട്ട് സന്നദ്ധനായിരുന്ന സൗമിത്രിയെ (ലക്ഷ്മണനെ) വിഭീഷണൻ അഭിമുഖീകരിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു.
