ity uktaḥ sārathis tena yayau yatra ha mārutiḥ |
vahan paramadurdharṣaṁ sthitam indrajitaṁ rathe ||
On hearing Indrajith who is highly difficult to encounter speaking in that way his charioteer drove Indrajith, to that place, where Maruthi was.
It underscores disciplined execution of command—an aspect of duty (kartavya) in warfare—while leaving open the epic’s larger judgment about whether the cause itself is dharmic.
Indrajit’s charioteer obeys and advances the chariot toward Hanumān’s position.
Obedience and operational competence in a subordinate role (the charioteer).
