मकराक्षवधः
The Slaying of Makarākṣa
तिष्ठराम मयासार्धंद्वन्द्वयुद्धंददामिते ।त्याजयिष्यामितेप्राणान् धनुर्मुक्सैशशितैश्शरैः ।।।।
tiṣṭha rāma mayā sārdhaṃ dvandvayuddhaṃ dadāmi te |
tyājayiṣyāmi te prāṇān dhanurmuktaiḥ śitaiḥ śaraiḥ ||
“നിൽക്കുക, രാമാ! ഞാൻ നിന്നോടൊപ്പം ദ്വന്ദ്വയുദ്ധം നടത്തുന്നു. എന്റെ ധനുസ്സിൽ നിന്നു വിട്ടു പോകുന്ന മൂർച്ചയുള്ള അമ്പുകളാൽ നിന്റെ പ്രാണൻ അപഹരിക്കും.”
