मकराक्षस्य निर्गमनम्

तस्यतेरथसंयुक्ताहयाविक्रमवर्जिताः ।चरणैराकुलैर्गत्वादीनाःसास्रमुखाययुः ।।।।

Transliteration

tasya te rathasaṃyuktā hayā vikramavarjitāḥ |

caraṇair ākulair gatvā dīnāḥ sāsramukhā yayuḥ ||

Translation

അവന്റെ രഥത്തിൽ കെട്ടിയിരുന്ന കുതിരകൾ വീര്യം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു; കാലുകൾ വിറയച്ച് മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങി, ദീനമായി കണ്ണുനീർ നിറഞ്ഞ മുഖത്തോടെ അവർ പോയി.
