परिघाग्रेणतान् वृक्षान्बभञ्ज च महोदरः ।त्रिशिराश्चाङ्गदंवीरमभिदुद्रावसायकैः ।।।।
parighāgreṇa tān vṛkṣān babhañja ca mahodaraḥ |
triśirāś cāṅgadaṃ vīram abhidudrāva sāyakaiḥ ||
മഹോദരൻ പരിഘത്തിന്റെ അഗ്രംകൊണ്ട് ആ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളെ തകർത്തു; ത്രിശിരസ് വീരനായ അങ്ങദനെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി അമ്പുകളുടെ മഴയോടെ പാഞ്ഞെത്തി.
