The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
कपिशोणितदिग्धाङ्गंभक्ष्यन्तंप्लवङ्गमान् ।कुम्भकर्णंस्थितंदृष्टवासुग्रीवोवाक्यमब्रवीत् ।।।।
kapiśoṇitadigdhāṅgaṃ bhakṣyantaṃ plavaṅgamān | kumbhakarṇaṃ sthitaṃ dṛṣṭvā sugrīvo vākyam abravīt ||
വാനരങ്ങളെ ഭക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് കപികളുടെ രക്തം പുരണ്ട ശരീരത്തോടെ അവിടെ നിൽക്കുന്ന കുംഭകർണ്ണനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, സുഗ്രീവൻ അവനോട് വാക്കു പറഞ്ഞു.
