सर्वाभरणसर्वाङ्गश्शूलपाणिस्सराक्षसः ।त्रिविक्रमकृतोत्साहोनारायणइवाबभौ ।।।।भ्रातरंसम्परिष्वज्यकृत्वाचापिप्रदक्षिणम् ।प्रणम्यशिरसातस्मैसम्प्रतस्थेमहाबलः ।।।।

Transliteration

sarvābharaṇasarvāṅgaḥ śūlapāṇiḥ sa rākṣasaḥ | trivikramakṛtotsāho nārāyaṇa iva ābabhau || bhrātaraṃ sampariṣvajya kṛtvā cāpi pradakṣiṇam | praṇamya śirasā tasmai sampratasthē mahābalaḥ ||

Translation

സകലാവയവങ്ങളിലും ആഭരണങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടും ശൂലം കൈവശമുള്ളതുമായ ആ രാക്ഷസൻ, ത്രിവിക്രമന്റെ ത്രിപാദവിക്രമോത്സാഹംപോലെ ഉത്സാഹത്തോടെ നാരായണനെപ്പോലെ ദീപ്തനായി തോന്നി. പിന്നെ സഹോദരനെ ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്ത്, പ്രദക്ഷിണം ചെയ്ത്, ശിരസാ നമസ്കരിച്ച്, ആ മഹാബലൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
