कुम्भकर्णप्रस्थानम्

Kumbhakarna’s Departure for Battle

काञ्चनाङ्गदकेयूरोनिष्काभरणभूषितः ।।।।कुम्भकर्णोबृहत्कर्णस्सुहुतोऽग्निरिवाबभौ ।

kāñcanāṅgadakeyūro niṣkābharaṇabhūṣitaḥ | kumbhakarṇo bṛhatkarṇaḥ suhuto 'gnir iva ābabhau ||

സ്വർണ്ണ അങ്കദ-കേയൂരങ്ങളും നിഷ്കാഭരണങ്ങളും അണിഞ്ഞ വിശാലകർണ്ണനായ കുംഭകർണ്ണൻ, നന്നായി ഹോമിക്കപ്പെട്ട അഗ്നിപോലെ ദീപ്തനായി തിളങ്ങി.
