कुम्भकर्णप्रस्थानम्

Kumbhakarna’s Departure for Battle

इत्येवमुक्तःसम्हृष्टोनिर्जगाममहाबलः ।राज्ञस्तुवचनंश्रुत्वाकुम्भकर्णस्समुद्यत:।। ।।

ity evam uktaḥ saṃhṛṣṭo nirjagāma mahābalaḥ |

rājñas tu vacanaṃ śrutvā kumbhakarṇaḥ samudyataḥ ||

ഇങ്ങനെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട മഹാബലനായ കുംഭകർണ്ണൻ രാജാവിന്റെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് ആനന്ദിച്ചു; എഴുന്നേറ്റ് പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
