कर्मचैवहिसर्वेषांकारणानांप्रयोजकम् ।श्रेयःपापीयसांचात्रफलंभवतिकर्मणाम् ।।।।

Transliteration

karma caiva hi sarveṣāṃ kāraṇānāṃ prayojakam | śreyaḥ pāpīyasāṃ cātra phalaṃ bhavati karmaṇām ||

Translation

കർമ്മം തന്നെയാണ് എല്ലാ കാരണങ്ങളെയും പ്രവർത്തിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പ്രേരകശക്തി; ഇവിടെ കർമ്മഫലം കർമ്മത്തിന്റെ സ്വഭാവമനുസരിച്ച് ശ്രേയസ്സായതായോ പാപകരമായതായോ വരുന്നു.
