तदिचेन्द्राद्भयं राजन्यदि चापिस्वयम्भुवः ।ततोऽहंनाशयिष्यामिनैशंतमइवांशुमान् ।।6.63.52।।अपिदेवाश्शयिष्यन्तेक्रुद्धेमयिमहीतले ।

tad iced indrād bhayaṃ rājan yadi cāpi svayambhuvaḥ |

tato 'haṃ nāśayiṣyāmi naiśaṃ tama ivāṃśumān ||

api devāḥ śayiṣyante kruddhe mayi mahītale |

രാജാവേ, ഇന്ദ്രനെയോ സ്വയംഭൂ ബ്രഹ്മാവിനെയോ പോലും നീ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ, സൂര്യൻ രാത്രിയുടെ അന്ധകാരം നീക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ ആ ഭയം നശിപ്പിക്കും; ഭൂമിയിൽ ഞാൻ ക്രുദ്ധനായാൽ ദേവന്മാരും വീണുകിടക്കും.
