अतीवहिसमालक्ष्यभ्रातरंक्षुभितेन्द्रियम् ।।6.63.29।।कुम्भकर्णश्शनैर्वाक्यंबभाषेपरिसान्त्वयन् ।

atīva hi samālakṣya bhrātaraṃ kṣubhitendriyam || 6.63.29 || kumbhakarṇaḥ śanair vākyaṃ babhāṣe parisāntvayan |

സഹോദരന്റെ ഇന്ദ്രിയങ്ങൾ അത്യന്തം ക്ഷുബ്ധമായിരിക്കുന്നതു വ്യക്തമായി കണ്ടു, അവനെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച്, കുംഭകർണൻ അതിവേഗമില്ലാതെ മൃദുവായി സംസാരിച്ചു.
