कुम्भकर्णोपदेशः

Kumbhakarna’s Counsel and War-Boast to Ravana

अस्मिन्कालेतुयद्युक्तंतदिदानींविधीयताम् ।गतंतुनानुशोचन्तिगतंतुगतमेवहि ।।6.63.25।।

asmin kāle tu yad yuktaṃ tad idānīṃ vidhīyatām | gataṃ tu nānuśocanti gataṃ tu gatam eva hi ||6.63.25||

ഈ സമയത്ത് യുക്തമായതു ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നെ ചെയ്യപ്പെടട്ടെ. കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് വിലപിക്കരുത്; കഴിഞ്ഞത് സത്യമായും കഴിഞ്ഞതുതന്നെ.
