प्रकृत्याह्येषतेजस्वीकुम्भकर्णोमहाबलः ।अन्येषांराक्षसेन्द्राणांवरदानकृतंबलम् ।।6.61.12।।

Transliteration

prakṛtyā hy eṣa tejasvī kumbhakarṇo mahābalaḥ |

anyeṣāṃ rākṣasendrāṇāṃ varadānakṛtaṃ balam ||6.61.12||

Translation

കുംഭകർണൻ സ്വഭാവത്താൽ തന്നേ തേജസ്സും മഹാബലവും ഉള്ളവൻ; എന്നാൽ മറ്റു രാക്ഷസേന്ദ്രന്മാരുടെ ശക്തി ലഭിച്ച വരദാനങ്ങളാൽ രൂപപ്പെട്ടതാണ്.
