युद्धकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः
Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma
हिमवान् मन्दरोमेरुस्तैलोक्यंवासहामरैः ।शक्यंभुजाभ्यामुद्धर्तुंनसङ् ख्येभरतानुजः ।।6.59.111।।
himavān mandaro merus trailokyaṃ vā sahāmaraiḥ |
śakyaṃ bhujābhyām uddhartuṃ na saṅkhye bharatānujaḥ ||6.59.111||
ഹിമവാൻ, മന്ദര, മേരു—അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ദേവന്മാരോടുകൂടിയ ത്രിലോകവും—ഇരുകൈകളാൽ ഉയർത്താൻ കഴിയും; എന്നാൽ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഭരതാനുജൻ (ലക്ഷ്മണൻ) ഉയർത്തപ്പെടാൻ കഴിയാത്തവനായിരുന്നു.
It may be possible to lift Himalayas, Mandara, Meru mountains or even the Devatas of the three worlds but not possible to lift Lakshmana by shoulders.
