Garuda’s Arrival and the Release from the Serpent-Arrow Bond
नरुजापीडितावेतावुभौराघवलक्ष्मणौ ।त्यक्त्वामोहंवधिष्येतेसगणंरावणंरणे ।।6.50.22।।
na rujāpīḍitāv etāv ubhau rāghavalakṣmaṇau |
tyaktvā mohaṃ vadhiṣyete sagaṇaṃ rāvaṇaṃ raṇe || 6.50.22 ||
രാഘവനും ലക്ഷ്മണനും—ഈ ഇരുവരും വേദനയാൽ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ കീഴടങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ല. മോഹം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് അവർ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ സൈന്യസഹിതം രാവണനെ വധിക്കും.
Thus, consoling and pacifying, the Rakshasa, Vibheeshana in that manner, Sugriva turned to his uncle Sushena and spoke.
Dharma is resilient commitment to righteous struggle: temporary collapse does not negate the duty to rise and complete the just task.
Sugrīva counters Vibhīṣaṇa’s despair by asserting that the brothers will recover consciousness and defeat Rāvaṇa.
